Princess & The Pea

I'd like to thank Auntie Kim for lending Makenna the Bumbo she had for all 3 of her monkeys. It is her favorite place to be!

She's still trying to figure out why she can sit with no one holding her..but is happy to be looking around (and sitting on the table for dinner time..which Alessa doesn't think is fair, because she's not allowed to sit on the table..lol)

Last night Alessa wanted to play a game with all of us, so we played aggravation..a board game she has. Kind of like Sorry, but without the cards. It lasted forever!! At the beginning we (Uncle Mike, Brent, & me..) were getting annoyed with Alessa trying to cheat her way through the game, but by the time an hour and a half went by we were all cheating any chance we could sneak it by..just to finish. Such meanies!

 Brent went golfing with a friend, he gets better every time he goes out. We would like to get to the driving range one day...just so i can laugh at myself for missing the ball! (I'll be sure to bring a camera) 

Today we spent the day with Uncle Mike, Misty, & Kellan. Kellan has gotten so big since the last time I saw him, and so cute! We hung around here for a while, Kellan had a nap, then we wanted to go somewhere fun and different for the kiddos. We went to Captain Kids. It's cheap for entertainment, but so MANY people there. We didn't go until dinner time, figuring there wouldn't be as many people, but I thought wrong and apparently every parent thought the same thing. It was packed. Alessa & Kellan had fun! Took a few minutes to warm up to the environment, but after that they were running around like every other crazy child there.

It's Kellan's 2nd birthday next week-end and Misty's on the 13th. Mike's is on the 18th. We are going next Sunday to Go Bananas and Choo Choo's for dinner. Its going to make for a long day!
